“Every Town Has One”

Why? Neither motorcycle-related, nor anything like what I thought (ok hoped) it would be when I read the title, “Every Town Has One” still made me smile.

Tagline: The house that Ugly built.

“The Bad Influence”

Why? I found the post with the least amount Aussie words I wouldn’t understand, and the most amount of nostalgia. Recipe for success! Bandit Rider leaves a little bit of mystery: is the man in the photos a friend? A father? I don’t know, but I like what I see!

Tagline: Mine’s better than yours.

“Cecil”

Why? The more Bluekat I read, the more I would buy this family a case of beer and insist we down it in one sitting. This post tells the tale: one part family tale, one part nice pictures, one part underdog bike, and one part basketcase motorcycles. Great work getting Cecil together and the daughter on two wheels!

Tagline: Named after the sound the brakes make.

“Are We There Yet?”

Why? Props for all those still able (and willing) to venture out there, despite (or in spite of) the cold! Here’s something I wish more of us could relate to.

Tagline: Caution: Slippery when wet.

“Tikiclown”

Why? WTF Fuzzy?! I’m 99% sure Fuzzygalore has the Encyclopedia of random giant stuff on her coffee table… and about 25% sure she’s a co-author.

Tagline: Big face, big nose?

Karina JeanKarina Jean
Fri. Feb 17th, 2012

“Go West”

Why? Karina Jean can knit. Karina Jean can read. Karina Jean can write. When will Karina Jean start to ride again?

Tagline: Her motorcycle started to sing “I don’t wanna wait in vain for your love.”

Had the flu.

“Why We Love Motorcycles”

Why? When I did last week’s #29in29 weekly favorites list I already knew this NWE post should be in here. Why we love motorcycles is aptly named. Those little imperfections really do make them perfectly ours. I said it once and I’ll say it again: these guys get it.

Tagline: Whatever doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.

“A Moto Diva is Born!”

Why? Dar always brings so much enthusiasm in her posts. As a rider she’s wasted no time up’ing her skill and confidence in the past 6 months, and it looks like she may be bringing a mini-MotoDiva along for the rides.

Tagline: Look out Motorcycle Man, the trouble just doubled!

“Three wheels of utter terror (and rainbow)”

Why? One post was a comical death-trap on three wheels, the other was, well, Fuzzy. I couldn’t pick a favorite so I drew up BOTH. Keep the laughs coming Crudmop!

Tagline: Listening to women: dangerous curves ahead.

“If Not You, Than Who?”

Why? I’ve already confessed to when it comes leaving for long trip, I’m as much about the riding as I am about the new-ness of it all: flavors with unfamiliar traces, drinks in unfamiliar spaces, nights with unfamiliar faces.

Tagline: Making the most of all of those little opportunities.

“(almost to the top)”

Why? Just one of many discoverings along a Magical Mystery Tour to California.

Tagline: Sometimes the destinations we ride too are worth mentioning.

“Love”

Why? I didn’t find any Valentine’s Day favorites last week, but this one will do just fine.

Tagline: With a love like that, you know you should be glad.

“Arches National Park, Utah”

Why? Because we need to do something when there’s too much snow on the ground to ride… and this couple refuses to let a couple grey hairs slow them down. Rock on Mr & Mrs. Skoot!

Tagline: Countdown to spring time.

“BikerPup”

Why? She’s dumb as a brick, and she isn’t much of a looker either, but this little girl is all heart, and she loves me and my motorcycles.

Tagline: I don’t need a meaningful relationship, I have a BikerPup.

About YouMotorcycle

YouMotorcycle is a lifestyle motorcycle blog to be appreciated by those who see motorcycling as a lifestyle and not simply a hobby, sport, or method of transportation. Most of the posts on the site are written by past and present motorcycle industry staff. We remain fiercely independent, innovative, and unconventional. Our goal is to encourage more people to enjoy the world's greatest outdoor sport by helping new riders get started and inspiring current riders to get out more. We motorcycle, do You?
