Sometimes on the road of life you see things that you could never imagine happening right in front of you. You see things that would only happen in a bad comedy flick. A lot of that kind of stuff happens while in bars.

I wanted to share this story with my little cousin Samantha who will be celebrating her sweet sixteen birthday in a couple weeks. Before I know it, she'll be out leading her own life full of stupidity. So here it is: the story of the guy who punched out of his turban at the bar Friday night.

Some people laughed when I tell them about how I got a raise, and then stopped working in the motorcycle industry a few days later. Some people also laughed when I told them I got offered a job at another company that I didn't even apply to. Unfortunately this post isn't very funny, so you should probably stop reading it.

Long story short, I'm not going to go to work anymore, I'm just going to ride my motorcycles instead.

And then you ride home with a warm engine and a cold back seat, wondering when you'll see her again. But before you know it you're riding past your ex girlfriend's house. She sent you a message on the anniversary of your father's death, and asked you not to answer in it.

You pull in the clutch and twist the throttle back hard, letting your engine sing at the rev limiter as you ride by. That's how bikers say hello sometimes.

Black Bike Week might not be very famous to most people in the United States and neighboring countries. However, it is an event full of history and deserves a commendation to all bike lovers out there. You might have not heard of Black Bike Week before but its level can be compared to the top Motorcycle Rallies known around the globe. It was created because of the strong influence of the world famous Daytona Beach Bike Week.

Notte Sento. That's italian. Literally it means something like "Night Feeling", but in this case it's a bit of an Italian play on words as Notte Sento sounds a bit like Non Ti Sento, or "I Can't Hear You." This video is the story of a beautiful deaf/mute girl who's train to Milan is cancelled so she must spend the night in Rome. In true italian fashion, she meets a boy. Actually, he's much more than just a boy, he's a rider, and the two of them begin their scooter ride across Rome overnight adventure. 

This is a must see, even for the manliest of manly men, and the most sentimental alike. Check it out. You're guaranteed to want to ride a scooter or motorcycle through Rome at any moment.

... to shake that ass. Seriously.

I'm exploring Twitter a lot and trying to see who's interesting out there. I find a lot of motorcyclists out there with some really bike-tastic names and pictures. Much to my chagrin, many of them end up tweeting about their dinner, their dog, their children, and Sons of Anarchy. Now, I like the TV show as much anyone, although not as much as many of you, but come on! 

Anyway, one Twitter account I am kind of digging is that of @BootsBoatsBikes / Boots, Boats, and Bikes / http://www.bootsboatsandbikes.co.uk They don't post too often on their website, but the Twitter account is updated pretty regularly, and what they do post is usually interesting stuff, so they get a YouMotorcycle biker-wave of approval.

Here's the video of 9 motorcyclists travelling the Peru's Sacred Valley in the Andes, from the Inca capital of Cusco, to the ancient city of Machu Picchu... shakin' that ass.

Brownie

Once upon a time a beautiful little introvert called Brownie asked me to take a look at a scooter she was interested in buying. In part thanks to my knit-picking, but mostly thanks to her charm, we haggled another $400 off of the price she had already negotiated the seller down to over the phone. A pretty smile and a short skirt trump a man’s better judgement.

This is the story of a young woman called Brownie, her slips and slides on a scooter she named Peppy Tits, the night with her friend, and how they relate to my latest scooter purchase.

Laconia

The Laconia Motorcycle Week is one of the biggest bike rallies in the world. Over-delivering on its name, the event lasts for 9 days. It held a record attendance in 2004, where 375,000 bikers joined in on the action. Laconia takes claim to being America’s Original Riding Rally. Laconia reigns down on the global scale of all motorcycle rallies at a whooping 89 years old!
