Interview: Worth “E.T.” Cadenhead

Worth Cadenhead

One day, Worth "E.T." Cadenhead decided to follow us on Twitter. It must've been a really slow news day because I asked if he'd like to do an interview on the site. Well, it turns out this resident Texan motorcyclist and motorcycle dealership worker is a little more interesting than his profile mug shot makes him seem!

Worth talks of growing up on bikes, motorcycle riding adventures, the Gypsy Motorcycle Club, and making the switch from cruiser to a sport bike that sportbikers don't actually consider a sport bike. Check it out:

How The Motorcycle Industry Works

YouMotorcycle Himself

I've come the conclusion that you can either love motorcycling, or you can work in the motorcycle industry, but not both.

Maybe there are a few exceptions. Who wouldn’t mind being a journalist flown to Spain on someone else's dime to test ride the latest and greatest new motorcycle at a press launch? I can tell you first hand the media doesn't have it easy, either. I’ve seen journalists braving out freezing cold storms on machines I wouldn’t want to ride anywhere but the track on a warm sunny day. These guys are tough.

M2 Exit Test for 125cc Motorcycles or 150cc Scooter in Ontario

M2 Exit on a Scooter

In Ontario we have a three-class motorcycle licensing system. There is a beginner class (M1 - written test), an intermediate class (M2 - riding test), and finally your full M class license. Unfortunately, the vehicle-specific requirements, definition of vehicles, and options available get a little blurry in the bureaucracy, and many small displacement motorcycle and cruiser riders are left in the mess

... but don't worry, that's what YouMotorcycle is here for.

Notte Sento: Rome Scooter Ride Short Film

notte sento scooter couple rome

Notte Sento. That's italian. Literally it means something like "Night Feeling", but in this case it's a bit of an Italian play on words as Notte Sento sounds a bit like Non Ti Sento, or "I Can't Hear You." This video is the story of a beautiful deaf/mute girl who's train to Milan is cancelled so she must spend the night in Rome. In true italian fashion, she meets a boy. Actually, he's much more than just a boy, he's a rider, and the two of them begin their scooter ride across Rome overnight adventure.

This is a must see, even for the manliest of manly men, and the most sentimental alike. Check it out. You're guaranteed to want to ride a scooter or motorcycle through Rome at any moment.

An Outsider’s Perspective of Motorcyclists

An Outsider’s Perspective of Motorcyclists

"G" - Dancer / Contortionist / Aerialist
The world is a better place when hanging upside down

Adrian at YouMotorcycle proposed the idea to me of writing an outsider’s perspective of motorcyclists.

As ignorant as this might sound, up until 3 months ago I didn’t think there was much of a motorcycle community, let alone an entire motorcycle world, but YouMotorcycle has opened up my eyes to something new to me.

How to Name a Scooter: Peppy Tits & Peppy Twat

brown eyes

Once upon a time a beautiful little introvert called Brownie asked me to take a look at a scooter she was interested in buying. In part thanks to my knit-picking, but mostly thanks to her charm, we haggled another $400 off of the price she had already negotiated the seller down to over the phone. A pretty smile and a short skirt trump a man’s better judgement.

This is the story of a young woman called Brownie, her slips and slides on a scooter she named Peppy Tits, the night with her friend, and how they relate to my latest scooter purchase.

How to Stop a Motorcycle Show-Off

motorcycle show off

Not so long ago, a young woman who's boyfriend just crashed on a motorcycle asked the internet, "Internet, how do I stop my boyfriend, a motorcyclist, from showing off on his motorcycle?" She asked a little late though, as her boyfriend was already in the hospital, the end result of having under-valued a corner, and over-valued his own skills in approaching it on a group ride.

Countless riders chimed in on the evils of showing off on your motorcycle. Only one dared to stand up for the nation of loud and proud motorcycle show-offs. Naturally, that one voice was my own.
