Taking a look at the most dangerous motorcycle roads in the world.

Scott Kolb's been working on a 125cc motorcycle for the past seven years. His goal: to be the first person to take a 125cc motorcycle up to 200 miles per hour.

200 miles. That's 321 kilometers. The fastest I've ever seen a 125cc motorcycle go is about 140 km/hr (87 mph). That's less than half. Scott Kolb's mission is to take a 125cc motorcycle and make it go two and a third times faster than it's meant to. Flashback to the World's Fastest Indian, anyone?

... to shake that ass. Seriously.

I'm exploring Twitter a lot and trying to see who's interesting out there. I find a lot of motorcyclists out there with some really bike-tastic names and pictures. Much to my chagrin, many of them end up tweeting about their dinner, their dog, their children, and Sons of Anarchy. Now, I like the TV show as much anyone, although not as much as many of you, but come on!

Just because a blog isn't participating in #29in29, doesn't make it uncool. For motorcycle blogs which retell the planning and riding of some seriously long motorcycle road trips, a daily blog post just doesn't make sense. Another site that doesn't need to update to stay awesome? The Call of the Road. One of those ride of a lifetime stories, The Call of the Road tells the story of an 8 week, 9,000+ mile ride from Florida to Alaska. I love living in Toronto. The motorcycle community is great. There are motorcycle meets almost every day of the week, loads of events, and we still get free motorcycle parking.

The spontaneous and unplanned rides are sometimes the most fun. It started with a text message from my girlfriend: “What are we going to do today?” Before long we found ourselves near the historic village of Kleinburg, Ontario. Kleinburg is surrounded by beautiful hills and branches of the Humber river.

The town is picturesque and its early 1800s origins have been left unspoiled.

Escaped for a week to ride from Ottawa to Toronto and through Quebec to Montreal.

With a combined 375cc split between two motorcycles, Adrian and Ashley ride their little bikes to Niagara Falls for all kinds of silliness in the city of big water.

Little known fact but the town west of Toronto is beautiful and a short ride away! Ride over to Webster Falls.

She was like a magnet. Wherever she went the animals drew near. Closer and closer she summoned them. For a moment it seemed as though the animals had come to admire her... and then, abruptly, a child would run up to the zoo animals screaming, and the moment would be ruined. Damn kids!
