How To: Motorcycle Burnout

Have you got a rear tire, money in your wallet, and a little peace, quiet, and fresh air? Learn how to do a burn out on your motorcycle and you can say good bye to all of that in an instant!

Confession: I was reading 2WheelTuesday and saw this post about doing a burn out on a motorcycle and actually enjoyed it quite a bit. The instructions are simple, and are “same ol’ same”, but riders new to doing burn outs will benefit from someone explaining it to them in slow motion.

Note: For your first time doing a burn out you might want to do it with your front tire against a wall, that way, should your finger slip off the front break, your motorcycle won’t be about to take off on you. Or at least, it won’t make it very far forward… be ready for the left or ride tip over, and hope that your pipes aren’t hot or you’ll have a nice leg burn to show for it! (Don’t ask me how I know)
